You may hear all the time about how keeping modern in today’s luxury mens clothing is all about being sleek, slim, narrow, and clean. These are all terms you’ll hear and often, it means no cuffed pants. But, does keeping it clean really mean giving up the cuff?

Absolutely not! If you love the cuff, you can still keep it modern within the boundaries of modern metro Milwaukee mens formalwear; you just have to know how to wear them. Start by wearing them at least 1 ¼” inches deep. This is one area where you don’t want to be as narrow as possible; you’ll just end up giving off that terrible 80s tapered leg look. And if you’re going to wear a cuff, it’s only going to look great if you own it!

The most popular way to wear a cuffed pant is the classic look: the front of the pants should just hit the upper of the shoe, no more; and the back should just slightly come down over the back of the shoe. If you’re feeling very confident and want to play around with better menswear Shorewood, you can wear the cuff a bit higher to show more of the ankle.

Also remember that if you’re really in love with the cuff and want to pull it off most naturally, wear a heavier fabric such as corduroy. A cuff is almost necessary with these fabrics to help them hang better; and it’s also a perfect fabric for fall!
